I consider it my job in the email world yto point out that the real
problems are not technical, but social, and a discussion of
privacy/crypto without underlying social stuff (how we interact, legal
issues like liability, etc) will devolve into technophilia. 

Yes I'm volunteering. I'll write something up before Hackers.
