I seem to remember that at about this time, the entire inteligence
community (part or all of the NSA, DEA, DOE, DOJ, CIA, DOD, and
the Treasury Dept) was reorganized and placed under something called
just "Central Inteligence" (CI).

Or is this just mistacken beurocratic trivia?
