The US Postal Service said this month it will
establish a new electronic commerce service
nsure that their
electronic transmissions are authentic and
tamper proof.


Richard Rothwell, senior director of technology
integration at USPS, said last week that the service
IS BEING TESTED internally by USPS personnel and
withiin the FAA.  Although many potential
hurdles remain, Rothwell said the service may be
publically avaiable as early as next year.
