I've never mentioned gatewaying, I'm only for that with moderated 
mailing lists, unlike cypherpunks .

Not personally relevent, my favorite newsreader can be used for e-mail, but 
it's clumsy for that function.

No gateway.  The list and newsgroup stays seperated.
