yes

it is not an alternative, it is a complement.
i think that alt.cypherpunks will be a failure because all of
the troubles of alt.* hierarchy.

Add X-Loop: header and use procmail to protect against messages
FROM_DAEMON and FROM_MAILER.

yes, it is the other stuff that's the problem -- memory, connection
speed, etc.
